- Stack: X into xAI (Mar 28, 2025), xAI into SpaceX (Feb 2026). Grok, Colossus, Cursor, and X sit inside public SpaceX (SPCX). Tesla stays independent.
- Tesla on Oct 7 trades near $375 (~$1.48–1.50T). TTM revenue is about $103.6B and trailing PE is roughly 350–395. Q3 deliveries were 486,532, beating a 461,974 consensus but down 2.1% from Q3 2025. Energy storage was 13.7 GWh, below a ~15.9 GWh consensus. Earnings are Oct 21.
- Product shift: Model S/X ended in early May for Optimus. Cybercab passenger service started in Austin on Sep 3. Semi is in production. Megapack 3 is rolling at Brookshire, Texas (50 GWh/year design). Optimus is at several hundred a week. On Oct 1 Musk cut AI5 memory to 72GB LPDDR5 to hit Optimus volume; volume silicon is expected in 2027.
- SpaceX listed in June at $135 (~$1.77T, $75B raised). The Oct 5 close was about $171 and roughly $2.3T. Q2 revenue was $7.81B with a $541M net loss and $18.4B of capex. Connectivity made $4.29B and $1.66B of operating income. Space lost $542M. AI made $2.56B of revenue and lost $1.26B operating. Starship Flight 14 (Sep 28) reached orbit and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites; an engine cut the flight short.
- Starlink had 12 million lines on June 30 (ARPU $66) and more than 13 million consumer subscribers by Aug 11, plus about 22 million monthly Starlink Mobile users. About 11,100 satellites were working in early October. Boring raised $3B at a $23B valuation on Sep 9. Neuralink had about 26 enrolled participants by July.
